Installation Guide

⚠️ Important: This is a 2-person job. Glass panels are heavy and require careful handling. Door comes fully assembled and ready to fit.

Tools Required: Spirit level, tape measure, drill with masonry bits, pencil, silicone sealant gun, screwdrivers (Phillips & flathead), adjustable spanner

Before You Start:

• Check all parts against the instruction manual
• Ensure shower tray is installed, level, and fully sealed
• Walls must be plumb (vertical) and square
• Door comes pre-assembled - no need to attach panels to frame
• Identify hinge side (reversible design - can be left or right)
• Check adjustment range matches your opening (see table above)

Installation Steps:

1. Measure Opening: Measure shower opening width at top, middle, and bottom. Use smallest measurement. Verify it falls within adjustment range for your door size.
2. Position Wall Profile: Hold wall profile (hinge side) against wall using spirit level to ensure perfectly vertical. Mark fixing hole positions with pencil. Drill holes and insert wall plugs.
3. Attach Wall Profile: Secure wall profile to wall with screws. Check vertical alignment with spirit level before final tightening. Apply silicone sealant between profile and wall.
4. Hang Door Assembly: With 2 people, carefully lift pre-assembled door unit. Slot hinges onto wall profile mounting points. Ensure door hangs freely and pivots smoothly.
5. Adjust Width: Adjust side profile to fit opening width (use adjustment range). Ensure door panels fold and unfold smoothly without binding. Check door is vertical when closed.
6. Mark & Drill Opposite Wall: Close door to mark position of closing profile on opposite wall. Remove door temporarily if needed. Drill and insert wall plugs.
7. Install Closing Profile: Attach closing profile to opposite wall. Ensure vertical alignment. Test door closes properly and magnetic strips align.
8. Fit Magnetic Strips: Attach magnetic closure strips where door meets closing profile. Test closure - should seal firmly. Adjust position if needed for best seal.
9. Install Bottom Seal: Attach bottom seal strip to base of door. Ensure it contacts shower tray when door is closed. Trim to length if necessary.
10. Final Sealing: Apply silicone sealant to all wall joints (both profiles). Seal where profiles meet shower tray. Wipe excess immediately with damp cloth. Allow 24 hours to cure before use.

Critical Tips:

• Always handle glass by edges, never by face
• Don't over-tighten screws on glass - can cause cracks
• Test bi-fold action before final sealing - panels should fold smoothly
• Ensure hinges are properly seated on wall profile
• Check door is vertical when closed - adjust if needed
• Use only sanitary-grade silicone sealant

Adjustment Range: Each size has -40 to -50mm adjustment to accommodate out-of-square walls (see table above)

After Installation: Wait 24 hours before using shower, test door folds and unfolds smoothly, check magnetic seal is secure, clean glass with non-abrasive cleaner

Maintenance: Clean hinges and pivot points monthly, check and tighten fixings annually, lubricate hinges if needed with silicone spray, re-seal joints every 2-3 years, wipe magnetic strips to maintain seal
