Installation Guide

Tools & Materials Required: Spirit level, tape measure, fine-tooth saw or Stanley knife, adhesive (PVA-based or specialist panel adhesive), silicone sealant, cloth, pencil

Surface Preparation:

1. Clean the surface - remove all dirt, grease, and loose material
2. Ensure surface is dry and flat - fill any holes or cracks
3. Prime porous surfaces with PVA solution (1:5 with water)
4. Check for level with spirit level

Installation Steps:

1. Measure & Plan: Measure wall dimensions, plan panel layout to minimize cuts, start from the most visible corner
2. Apply Adhesive: Apply in vertical strips (10-15cm apart) on panel back, continuous bead around edges
3. Position First Panel: Start from corner, ensure perfectly vertical, press firmly, wipe excess adhesive
4. Install Subsequent Panels: Align tongue and groove edges, slide together gently, maintain spacing, check level regularly
5. Cutting Panels: Measure twice, use fine-tooth saw for straight cuts, score with Stanley knife for clean breaks, cut face-up
6. Finishing: Seal all edges with silicone (especially wet areas), install trim pieces, wipe clean, allow 24 hours before moisture exposure

Top Tips: Acclimatize panels 24 hours before installation, work in 10-25°C temperatures, fully seal all edges in wet areas, can install over existing tiles if surface is sound

Maintenance: Clean with mild detergent and soft cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners, re-seal silicone joints annually in wet areas
