Installation Guide

Tools Required: Spirit level (600mm min), adjustable spanner, screwdriver set, silicone sealant (sanitary grade), plumber's putty or waste seal, adjustable feet/legs, tape measure

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare Floor: Clean installation area, check floor is level, mark tray position, ensure waste pipe is accessible at correct height (65-100mm from finished floor)
2. Fit Waste Trap: Attach waste trap to tray outlet BEFORE positioning tray, apply plumber's putty around waste outlet, hand-tighten (don't over-tighten), ensure trap is accessible for maintenance
3. Position & Level Tray: Attach adjustable legs to underside (4-6 legs), position tray in final location, adjust each leg until perfectly level, check level in all directions, tray should have slight fall towards waste (1-2mm per metre)
4. Connect Waste: Connect waste trap to drainage pipe, ensure all connections are hand-tight, check trap has water seal, test for leaks by pouring water down waste
5. Secure Tray: Mark leg positions on floor, apply silicone around base of legs, check tray stability (no movement when stepped on)
6. Seal Edges: Apply continuous bead of sanitary silicone around all wall edges, smooth with wet finger, ensure complete seal, allow 24 hours to cure
7. Final Checks: Pour water into tray and check drainage, inspect all seals for leaks, verify waste trap is accessible

Critical Tips: Never install on uneven floor (causes stress cracks), use slight fall towards waste (1-2mm) for drainage, standard waste diameter is 40mm, minimum 50mm clearance below tray required

After Installation: Wait 24 hours before use, run water test for 5 minutes, install shower enclosure as required

Maintenance: Check silicone seals annually, clean waste trap every 6 months, use non-abrasive cleaners only
